BioMaltobionic Acid

BioMaltobionic Acid(MBA) is a vegan skincare material derived from maltose. It is one of PHA (Poly Hydroxy Acid), namely knowns as the third generation for exfoliating which gets absorbed into the skin without irritating the skin.

Maltobionic Acid is also known for its efficacy in moisturizing, exfoliating and anti-aging . And it has a larger molecular size than Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) and Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) and such size differences make MBA slowly absorbs into the skin and gently cares for exfoliation. Since MBA contains hydroxyl group in its molecules, it absorbs moisture in the air and forms a natural gel matrix on the skin.
